A new specialized vehicle for waste collection and emptying underground and semi-underground containers has been delivered to Zaprešić d.o.o. The vehicle represents an important step in modernizing the company’s fleet and improving municipal services in the Zaprešić area.

The municipal truck solution is built on a MAN TGS 26.440 6×2-4 BL chassis with a wheelbase of 4,200 mm. It is equipped with a FAUN VARIOPRESS refuse collection and compaction body and an EPSILON C70G77 municipal crane.

The crane features a 7.7-metre boom system and a slewing angle of 330 degrees. It is equipped with Scanreco radio remote control, two LED work lights and a complete hook system for the safe lifting of containers. Additional stabilizers and a specially designed reinforcement structure were installed to ensure stable and safe crane operation.

An XST system is installed for emptying underground and semi-underground containers. The vehicle’s hydraulic system enables the crane and container lifting system to operate simultaneously, making the entire working process faster and more efficient. The waste compaction cycle can also be activated using the crane’s remote control, allowing the operator to manage the emptying process more efficiently.

As the number of underground containers in the Zaprešić area continues to increase, the new vehicle will enable faster, more efficient and more reliable waste collection while contributing to a cleaner, tidier and more pleasant urban environment.
