PK-PALFINGER KRAN d.o.o. delivered a specialized Scania G 460 6×2*4 vehicle to Auto servis Brozić, equipped with a PALFINGER PK 33002-EH loader crane and an FP260-6.9 steel platform designed for transporting, loading and unloading boats. The platform is equipped with twist locks for transporting 20-foot containers.

Auto servis Brozić, based in Malinska on the island of Krk, specializes in transporting boats, construction machinery and other specialized and heavy loads. In addition to transport and towing services, the company provides boat lifting and launching, roadside assistance, vehicle repair and vehicle rental services.

The PALFINGER PK 33002-EH loader crane is installed behind the vehicle cab and equipped with six hydraulic extensions, providing a maximum hydraulic outreach of 16.8 metres. It is also fitted with a PJ 060 B hydraulic fly-jib, extending its horizontal outreach to 25 metres. The crane enables boats to be lifted and positioned safely, precisely and efficiently during loading and unloading.

For easy and precise operation, the crane is equipped with a radio remote-control system. The HPSC stability control system and additional stabilizers ensure safe and stable operation, particularly when handling loads at greater outreach.

The FP260-6.9 steel boat transport platform features a 6,600 mm-long loading area and has been specially designed and adapted for transporting vessels. It features a longitudinal drainage channel and a lowered section that accommodates boats with propellers. The platform is also equipped with twist locks for the safe transport of 20-foot containers. This versatile design enables the vehicle to transport both boats and containers, increasing its overall utilization.

The platform structure has been specially treated to provide long-lasting protection against corrosion and greater resistance to demanding working conditions, moisture and marine environments. The platform is installed on a Scania G 460 6×2*4 vehicle with a wheelbase of 4,950 mm.

The combination of a powerful PALFINGER loader crane, a purpose-built steel platform and a suitably equipped Scania chassis provides a functional, safe and reliable solution for professional boat transport. This specialized vehicle body was designed and manufactured to meet the customer’s specific operational requirements, enabling boats to be loaded, transported and unloaded using a single vehicle.
