PK-PALFINGER KRAN d.o.o. delivered two VOLVO FL 320 4×2 vehicles to Hrvatske autoceste, equipped with PALFINGER ST 14 TEC skiploaders and winter service bodies. The combination of skiploaders and interchangeable winter service equipment enables the vehicles to be quickly adapted to various road maintenance tasks.

Hrvatske autoceste d.o.o. is responsible for the management, construction and maintenance of motorways in the Republic of Croatia, except for those operated by concessionaires. Its activities include routine and extraordinary maintenance of motorways and road infrastructure, motorway protection and patrol services, as well as ensuring the safe and uninterrupted flow of traffic.

The PALFINGER ST 14 TEC skiploaders are installed on VOLVO FL 320 4×2 vehicles with a wheelbase of 3,800 mm. The 4,200 mm-long units are equipped with standard lifting arms, a conventional container locking system, independent stabilizers with fixed support pads and two 600 mm-long hooks.

The skiploaders are operated manually via a hydraulic control valve located on the left-hand side of the vehicle. An emergency stop button provides additional safety. The equipment also includes centrally positioned chains with shackles, a steel floor, mounting plates and a spare wheel carrier.

The winter service equipment was manufactured and installed by Riko Ribnica. The combination of PALFINGER skiploaders and interchangeable winter service equipment enables efficient year-round use of the vehicles—from winter road maintenance to the transport and handling of various types of containers.

With this delivery, Hrvatske autoceste has received two multi-purpose vehicles designed for demanding road infrastructure maintenance operations. Reliable PALFINGER skiploaders, suitably equipped VOLVO chassis and specialized winter service equipment combine to create a functional, safe and flexible solution for everyday operations.
