PK-PALFINGER KRAN d.o.o. participated as an exhibitor at the 23rd Wood Technology Conference, 11. held on May 11–12, 2026 in Opatija and organized by the Croatian Wood Cluster. Once again, the conference confirmed its status as one of the most important annual gatherings of the wood processing and forestry sector in Croatia and the wider region, bringing together representatives of industry, institutions, academia, and international organizations.

During the two-day conference program, discussions focused on key topics shaping the future of the sector, including the availability of wood raw materials, market trends, European regulations, biomass energy utilization, workforce challenges, and the development of new technologies in wood processing and forestry. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening dialogue between industry stakeholders, governmental institutions, and market participants in order to ensure long-term sustainable business models and sector development.

As an exhibitor at the conference, PK-PALFINGER KRAN d.o.o. had the opportunity to present its solutions for the forestry and wood-processing industry, while also establishing valuable contacts and exchanging experiences with partners, experts, and industry representatives from Croatia and Southeast Europe.

This year’s edition of the conference was held in a hybrid format for the first time, enabling online participation and live streaming of selected presentations and panel discussions, further expanding the reach and accessibility of the event to a broader professional audience.
