On November 17, 2015, three out of a total of six ordered forestry truck bodies were delivered to Cedar d.o.o. for use in professional forestry operations.
The delivery included cranes from the new “THE NEXT EPSOLUTION” series, specifically the M12Z91 model with a maximum outreach of 9.1 meters. There is also the option to equip a version with a 10.5-meter hydraulic outreach, which represents the longest Z-type boom available on the market.
The cranes are equipped with the high-mounted MASTER DRIVE seat featuring servo control, offering maximum comfort and safety for the operator. A multi-functional armrest with controls for stabilizers and additional functions, an ergonomically designed joystick, and a foldable Grammer seat are just some of the user-oriented advantages that PALFINGER EPSILON provides. The package also includes EPSHOOD, a pneumatically foldable operator protection system, representing the pinnacle of technical innovation in crane operator safety.
The forestry platform, without a floor, is equipped with four pairs of ExTe E-6 stakes, and features an extremely lightweight design. All superstructures were mounted on Volvo FH trucks.
In addition, each forestry build was delivered with a PSM 200 forestry trailer, developed and manufactured by PK d.o.o.. With a low tare weight of just 3,660 kg, the trailer is equipped with the ECO-tronic system, which includes an info center with a weighing scale and display monitor for total mass control.
The ECO-tronic system includes:
EBS (Electronic Braking System) – ensures shorter braking distances
ALB (Automatic Load-dependent Braking) – adjusts braking force based on trailer load
TRS (Trailer Roll Stability) – prevents trailer rollover during operation
