PK-PALFINGER KRAN d.o.o. has successfully delivered a special abroll container equipped with a PALFINGER PK 14.501 SLD5 crane to Michielli-Tomić d.o.o. from the island of Brač. The bodywork was specifically designed and adapted to the customer’s existing used truck, providing a functional and cost-effective solution that maximizes the utilization of the existing vehicle fleet.
The system is intended for the efficient collection, loading, unloading, and transportation of various bulk and oversized materials, making it a flexible solution for municipal, construction, and transport applications.

The new unit consists of an “Extra Light” abroll container with overall dimensions of 6,500 × 2,300 × 2,000 mm and internal dimensions of 5,500 × 2,300 × 2,000 mm. The container is painted in RAL 7001 Grey and designed for easy loading and safe transportation of different types of materials.

At the heart of the system is the PALFINGER PK 14.501 SLD5, a compact and powerful crane with a maximum hydraulic outreach of 10.3 metres. It is equipped with a triple hydraulic extension, Scanreco radio remote control, the ISC-S stability monitoring system, and hydraulic stabilizers.

The system is also equipped with an FSG 270/5 clamshell grapple with a volume of 270 litres, enabling efficient material handling operations. This configuration allows the customer to efficiently perform a wide range of municipal and transport tasks while maximizing the use of existing vehicles and equipment.
