Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP Group) is the national energy company of Croatia, with over a century of experience in electricity generation, distribution, and supply. In recent decades, the company has expanded its services to include the distribution and supply of thermal energy and natural gas. HEP – Operator distribucijskog sustava (HEP ODS), a subsidiary within the group, is responsible for electricity distribution services, network access and usage, and ensuring a reliable power supply to end users across the country.
Following last year’s delivery of 106 Ford Transit 3.5 t vehicles equipped with cargo platforms (internal dimensions: 2500 x 2100 x 400 mm) and tarpaulin covers, HEP ODS received 15 new vehicles in early February. Each of these vehicles features a PALFINGER PK 2900B crane and an aluminum cargo platform (2000 x 2100 x 400 mm), mounted on VW Crafter 3.5 t chassis with double cab.
A formal handover was held at the facilities of PK d.o.o., where 15 HEP ODS employees from across Croatia took delivery of their new vehicles. As part of the event, participants also received crane operation training and took part in a team-building session.
Once again, HEP Group placed its trust in PK d.o.o., a proven partner known for high-quality, purpose-built vehicle upgrades. This particular project represents a further step forward for PK in this type of installation. Notably, the subframe and all steel components are KTL-coated (cathodic dip coating), providing excellent corrosion resistance and extending the service life of the platform.
The subframe is connected to the main chassis with bolted joints, allowing for easier maintenance and long-term durability. PK d.o.o. continuously invests in technology to ensure that customers receive products aligned with the latest industry standards and technological advancements.
