PK-Palfinger Kran d.o.o. is proud to participate for the second consecutive year as a partner of the RIJEKA RUN project, in cooperation with the global brand PALFINGER.
This is a unique sports, recreational, and humanitarian project that brings together thousands of participants with the goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle, physical activity, and community spirit. The RIJEKA RUN 2026 project includes a series of races held throughout April, culminating in the grand finale on April 18, 2026, at Korzo in Rijeka. .
The project includes the following races:
- 539 Steps (Trsat Staircase Run) – April 4, 2026
- Molo Longo Run (6 km) – April 11, 2026
- Homo si teć (Citizens’ Run, ~1.5 km) – April 18, 2026
- Half Marathon (21 km) – April 18, 2026
- Relay Half Marathon (3 × 7 km) – April 18, 2026
- 10K Race (~10 km) – April 18, 2026
- Erste 5K (~5 km) – April 18, 2026
- dm Kids Run & Milka Milinković Memorial Race – April 18, 2026
The highlight of the event is the “Homo si teć” citizens’ run, which gathers more than 15,000 participants of all generations every year and represents a symbol of unity, recreation, and positive energy in the city of Rijeka.
As a socially responsible company, we recognize the importance of initiatives that promote an active lifestyle, solidarity, and humanity. The project’s humanitarian character gives it additional value.
Official event T-shirts will be available at the sales stand on Korzo and in Sport Vision stores in Rijeka. The price of one T-shirt is €8, of which €2.50 is donated to the “Srce za nju” association, which supports women suffering from chronic and oncological diseases and raises awareness about the importance of prevention and timely support.
As part of our participation, PK-Palfinger Kran has provided T-shirts for its employees and actively encouraged them to take part in the race together with their families, contributing further to this valuable humanitarian initiative.
We believe that such events strengthen team spirit and reinforce our connection with the local community.
Participation in the RIJEKA RUN project is yet another example of our commitment to socially responsible business practices and active contribution to the community in which we operate.
