PK-PALFINGER KRAN d.o.o. has successfully delivered two fully equipped forestry combinations for its long-term partner, Kušanić d.o.o. Each combination is based on a Volvo FH 540 truck chassis, fitted with a SP160‑6.3 forestry superstructure, a EPSILON Q170Z96 articulated crane with a reach of 9.6 meters, and a PSM300 three-axle forestry trailer with a gross weight of 30 tonnes.

The superstructures are made from high-strength fine-grain steel, with a reinforced 8 mm subframe and a steel bracket designed for rear Z-crane installation. Hydraulic lines are routed inside the structure for protection and durability, and the front wall is KTL-coated with an integrated grapple holder and laser-cut Kušanić logo.

The EPSILON Q170Z96 cranes are equipped with a robust Indexator G121 rotator and EPSLINK suspension system, while operator safety and comfort are ensured through the pneumatically tilting EPSHOOD protective roof.

Special attention was also given to the PSM300 trailers, each built with three axles, one of which is automatically liftable when driving unloaded. The suspension system is based on air springs, and disc brakes provide reliable and efficient braking — ensuring stability, safety, and comfort even in demanding forestry operations.

This delivery is another successfully completed project by the PK‑PALFINGER KRAN team, once again proving its ability to deliver complete, tailored solutions for the forestry sector.
