For our long-standing partner from Germany, WWM Hoch und Tiefbau GmbH, we successfully completed another specialized delivery – a three-side tipper TK 160 mounted on a Volvo FH500 chassis.

The superstructure was built in dimensions 4800 × 2420 × 800 mm, with a focus on durability, functionality, and operational safety. The tipper is equipped with a hydraulic bordmatic system for opening the left sidewall, while the rear gate features mechanical locking pins, providing additional safety when tipping the load.

A dual-circuit hydraulic installation is included for connecting a tipping trailer, and the rear section is fitted with a foldable rear underrun protection, manufactured in-house by the PK team. For operator convenience, the rear gate locks can be opened pneumatically from the cabin, and tie-down rings in the floor as well as a small hatch on the rear gate allow for controlled and gradual unloading of material.

The tipper is also equipped with a Cramaro electric tarp, ensuring quick and secure covering of cargo.

While the tipper’s primary purpose is not transporting palletized goods, the 2.42-meter width allows for loading two euro pallets, expanding the vehicle’s versatility in daily use.
