REHABILITATION CENTER RIJEKA

Increasing mobility for people moving in wheelchairs is immensely important. In order to actively involve them in all areas of public and private life, they need a vehicle equipped for the transport of persons with disabilities.
It was just this kind of vehicle that came out of our workshop for the first time. For the needs of the Center for Rehabilitation Center Rijeka, we installed the Palfinger RTP35 HI-HF ramp for wheelchairs on the Opel Vivaro Combi L2H1 2.0. The ramp is characterized by a compact design, taking up very little space in the vehicle when it is folded. It is built for today’s heavier and wider wheelchairs with high-quality steel platform and anti-slip support. A network platform allows the driver greater visibility to the rear door through the ramp. Handrails are without sharp edges, designed to extend from 65% to 88% in length to enhance passenger safety and are at the same time very compact because they do not take extra seats when folded. With this innovative handheld design, the RTP35 HI FI ramp will fit into a variety of vehicle models. The ramp is very easy to operate with manual remote control. In the car we also installed a new floor with built-in rails and a belt for wheelchair pick-up.
The delivered ramp, the donation of the Dalmatian Township to the users of the center, was organized for this occasion, where on the name of the Dalmatian Township Society Ante Vranješ, the president of the company, handed over the keys of the van to the head of the Center for Rehabilitation Rijeka Gordana Saršon.
