PK-PALFINGER KRAN d.o.o. has successfully completed the delivery of a special platform designed for the transportation of e-bikes for Split Parking. The platform was mounted on an Iveco Daily 35S14H vehicle and developed to provide safe, fast, and efficient transportation of bicycles within the public bike-sharing system. The structure is manufactured from high-strength steel and designed to transport up to 16 electric bicycles simultaneously.

Special attention was given to ease of handling and safety during loading operations. The platform is equipped with a spring-assisted lifting system that facilitates the loading of e-bikes, while specially designed holders ensure secure positioning of the bicycles in an upright position during transport. Both the front and rear wheels are additionally secured to prevent movement while driving.

The solution is tailored to bicycles weighing approximately 30 kg and dimensions typical of electric bicycles used in public bike-sharing systems. This enables efficient relocation of bicycles between stations, faster fleet redistribution, and improved availability of bicycles for end users.
