A PPSM39 forestry semi-trailer designed for the transport of timber assortments has been delivered to UPTO Benšak d.o.o.

The semi-trailer is designed with a gross vehicle weight of 39,000 kg and a payload capacity of up to 31,250 kg, with an unladen weight of approximately 4,750 kg. The chassis structure is manufactured from high-quality steel in the form of a welded construction with two longitudinal beams, providing high strength while maintaining an optimal vehicle weight.

The running gear is equipped with three SAF axles with a load capacity of 9,000 kg per axle, air suspension and disc brakes. The first axle is liftable, while the second and third axles are fixed. The braking system is based on the WABCO EBS system, complemented by a TRS anti-roll system, ensuring stability and safety during transport.

The loading platform is designed without flooring, featuring a steel cover plate and eight load securing lashing points on each side. The design allows installation of a front aluminium wall and easy configuration adjustments for transporting logs according to operational needs.

The semi-trailer is equipped with a 24 V electrical system, including rear lights with reflective triangles, side marker lights and work lights for safer operation in low-visibility conditions. An integrated Smart Board information center provides an overview of key trailer functions and status.
