On July 7, 2014, at the headquarters of the municipal utility company ČAKOM, a ceremonial handover took place for the first hybrid-powered trucks in Croatia. The two Fuso Canter 7C15 HEV Eco Hybrid trucks, equipped with container hooklift superstructures produced by PK d.o.o., are intended for collecting waste containers located throughout the city.

The handover ceremony was attended by: Mihael Zmajlović, Minister of Environmental Protection, Sven Muller, Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, Stjepan Kovač, Mayor of Čakovec,
and the owners of PK d.o.o., ČAKOM d.o.o., and STAR IMPORT d.o.o.
