As an additional feature of the PALcom P7 remote control, PALFINGER has introduced the P-FOLD system for all cranes in the SH series—from the PK 42002 SH to the PK 200002 L SH. The operator activates P-FOLD directly via the menu on the PALcom P7 radio control.

Once activated, the crane is operated using just one joystick movement. The intelligent P-FOLD function takes full control of the crane until it reaches the working position. When the task is completed, the crane can be folded back from any working position.

The P-FOLD system works in tandem with the new RTC (Rope Tension Control) system. Together, these systems optimize crane operation, drastically reducing setup and fold-down times while preventing potential damage to the vehicle and surrounding area. In addition to improving operator comfort and reducing risk, P-FOLD significantly streamlines crane handling, making it safer, faster, and more intuitive.
